Websites
Clean, responsive websites for businesses, freelancers, tradespeople and organisations.
Pixels By Numbers
I design and build websites for people and businesses who want something that works properly, looks good and doesn't need a committee to approve every pixel.
Starting out. Not starting from scratch.
Pixels By Numbers is a new independent web-design business. I'm building the business from scratch, but I'm not starting with zero experience. I've been writing software and working with websites for years.
I don't have a huge portfolio to show you yet. That's the honest bit. So I'm looking for a few early projects where I can build something genuinely useful, at a sensible price, and start building that portfolio properly.
What I do
Clean, responsive websites for businesses, freelancers, tradespeople and organisations.
Product catalogues, baskets, payments and the other things involved in persuading people to buy stuff.
Blogs, news, pages and user updates so you don't have to call me every time you want to change a sentence.
Logins, databases, search, dashboards, forms, member areas and other genuinely useful complications.
Chat, messaging, notifications and real-time features when refreshing the page isn't quite good enough.
If you've got an idea and aren't sure whether it can be built, ask. It probably can.
How it works
We'll work out what you actually need, decide what it should cost, build it, test it and put it online.
A small favour to myself
I'm looking for a handful of freelancers, tradespeople and small businesses for my first projects. Some may be free or very heavily discounted, depending on what's involved.
In return, I'd ask to show the finished work in my portfolio and, if you're happy with it, for a testimonial.
Think that could work? →About Pixels By Numbers
There isn't a big team hiding behind this website. It's me, a computer and an unreasonable willingness to work out how things work.
That means you deal with the person actually building your site. It also means I can keep things straightforward.
Let's talk
It doesn't need to be fully formed. Send me the rough version.
